Assistant Principal Jackson

Kirsten Jackson is a seasoned administrator of four years, bringing a rich and diverse background in science education and leadership. She began her career as a chemistry teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland, where she taught all levels of chemistry from grade 9 through college, including courses at a local community college. Her passion for curriculum development led her to serve in both district and state science curriculum offices, where she contributed to advancing science and environmental education.

Ms. Jackson has served as an administrator at two different high schools, supporting science, special education, and fine arts/technology departments. She relocated to Pennsylvania in early May and looks forward to continuing her work in supporting students and staff within the Swatara Middle School and Central Dauphin School District communities.
